WASHINGTON—Amazon.com Inc. gained dismissal on Friday of an antitrust lawsuit introduced towards it by the District of Columbia, which had alleged that the corporate harmed shoppers by blocking sellers on its market from providing higher offers elsewhere.
The lawsuit was tossed out by D.C. Superior Court docket Choose Hiram Puig-Lugo, in accordance with a docket entry, primarily based on Amazon’s movement to dismiss. The movement was opposed by D.C. Legal professional Basic Karl Racine, whose workplace stated it was contemplating an attraction.
